Description
The Crye JPC 2.0 is a lightweight and low profile plate carrier designed for maximum mobility, weight savings, and packability. At just over one pound for the entire carrier, the Crye JPC 2.0 offers a variety of configuration options to suit an operator’s needs in terms of protection, modularity, and comfort. The AVS Molle Panel and AVS M4 Flap are available from RMA and compatible with the JPC 2.0 (sold separately). The Crye JPC 2.0 plate carrier features Crye Precision’s SKELETALâ„¢ CUMMERBUND system with a patented Integrated Attachment System that allows pouches to be mounted on both the inside and outside of the cummerbund. The Crye JPC 2.0 system sheds unnecessary weight and bulk while improving overall ventilation of an already low profile plate carrier.
Are you in the market for body armor to go along with your JPC 2.0? RMA currently has Level 4 Body Armor Kits with the JPC 2.0 available. The Crye JPC 2.0 level 4 body armor kit comes complete with a JPC and two multi-curve level IV body armor plates.
Body Armor Compatibility
It’s important to note that the JPC 2.0 is specifically designed for multi-curve, SAPI sized plates – small through extra large – and RMA’s Level 3+ body armor plates fit the bill. If you choose a medium sized carrier, you’ll need to purchase a size medium plate carrier.
The size medium JPC 2.0 is also compatible with 10×12 body armor plates – both single curve and multi-curve. The Lightweight Level 4 Plate is a great option for the JPC 2.0, as is the Lightest level 4 plate we produce, model #1192.
JPC 2.0 FAQ
What Size Plates for a JPC 2.0?
All JPC 2.0 plate carriers from Crye Precision are sized by their plate bag. Meaning, if you have size medium SAPI plates (9.5″x12.5″), you’ll want the size medium JPC 2.0. If you have size large SAPI armor plates (10.25″x13.25″), you’ll want to order the size large JPC 2.0.
However, 10×12 armor plates from RMA, like the RMA 1165 level 4 plate, SRT plate, and others will also fit into the medium Crye JPC 2.0.
How Long Does Crye Take to Deliver?
While Crye has their own shipping and delivery process through their own website, RMA will ship Crye precision products listed as “in stock” out the next business day.
RMA ships via UPS ground, which takes 3-5 days for delivery. In most cases, you can receive your Crye Precision order from RMA within a week.

Nice light weight, low profile carrier. I would highly recommend

This carrier is more comfortable than any others I’ve owned and used. The down side is that I ordered a medium carrier because of the plate size. The cummerbund is a S/M, so if you’re a bit on the larger side, you’re going to be ordering a larger one or extending the back out to the max like I had to. I also really wish there was an easier way to convert these to a QD system. All I could find required modification to the carrier/cummerbund and/or outright replacing the cummerbund.

I wasn’t sold on this plate carrier at first glance due to being in the Marine Corps and being in love with the one I was issued. After receiving it and loading my level 4 plates into it and placing my gear on it, I was impressed and my mind got changed immediately. The skeletonized cummerbund is fantastic and way more sturdy than you would think. It keeps you a lot cooler too which is a huge plus. Crye did a great job. It’s very well made and I’m glad I made this purchase.

Light and less cumbersome when compared to the old ABU carrier that was issued to me on deployment.

Stupid fast shipping. I originally ordered from cryepersision 3 weeks into February. They had it being delivered in May. Bought from RMA it wasn’t even 4 days and I had it.

The box was a little beat up when delivered and it went on sale soon as i got it but it was a perfect fit and great quality, with fast shipping compared to crye precision 4 month waiting period (or whenever they feel like it) but any who me being 5’8″ 170 pounds the size medium is perfect.

Amazing shipping and fits well for a medium, fits me well but next time I will go with a large since I’m 6’0 and 205lbs. Very lightweight and adjustable. Can be made to be a bit loose so you can don it off/on to reduce wear and tear.

I was asked to put together a plate carrier for a friend and Crye is the only one I would ever use. In my opinion nobody comes close.
JASON G. (verified owner) –
Very happy with the purchase so far. Very comfortable, good adjustability. Due to my frame 5’9″ fairly muscular 195lbs. I am right between the Med and Large plate recommend sizes, so due to stock availability I opted for the Large. I am not upset but I would prob prefer the Med just to gain that slightly smaller profile. But since the plates are not exchangeable that is not an option. Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

The JPC 2.0 medium is perfect for the USMC medium and small SAPI plates. It is also adjustable enough for a very wide range of people. I am 5’6″ and 170# and in good shape. This kit is very comfortable. I did have to add foam inserts for my side sapis to stop flak bite. The top integrated pouch is large enough to make sense and be useful. It will fit a typical Rite in the Rain book but the smaller spiral version would be ideal. The kangaroo pouch velcro is very strong. It almost makes it unusable. If you are using a molle placard it will be unusable.

I ordered the multicam black vest and I love it and love how simplistic it is as well as lightweight I use it for my Armed Security job eight hours a night definitely would buy again also buy the extra shoulder padding though
rigel s. (verified owner) –
Fast shipping and excellent customer services from rma. One of the plate carrier in the market, if you are thinking about buying just do, you wont regret it.
Dakota Smith (verified owner) –
It’s great. No defects and fits perfectly. Remember, the vest is only supposed to cover your heart and lungs. A medium is the perfect size for an average male.
Einar M. (verified owner) –
Fits well even with smaller plates. Waiting on my 11″x14″ to arrive. fits snug and feels very secure on. Love the skeleton side bands more then I thought I would.

Kick ass carrier

Great carrier for low-vis / short-term missions. Extremely light-weight, the only lighter option I can think of off the top of my head is the Crye AirLite SPC. Definitely recommend the 2.0 if you’re looking to customise your kit & need that hook-and-loop space – though you can throw an AVS flap on the front & slap a ranger shingle on it (or whatever you deem necessary). Only thing I would really look to upgrade immediately would be to get yourself a tubes cummerbund from somewhere like Coyote Tactical / Beez / MOS. It’ll make your life easier & it’ll cut down on wear / noise.
If you’re looking for lots of real estate in terms of MOLLE / PALS, I’d go somewhere else. I’ve got a BFG Helium Whisper triple & a Juggernaut mount for ATAK comms on an issued device, and I’m maxed out besides a small space for a PTT & some admin / signal in the admin chest nook. Worth investing in the AirLite radio pouches for interior cummerbund space, or Spiritus Wings.
