Crye AVS Detachable M4 Flap
Based on the low profile front flap of the Jumpable Plate Carrier 2.0 (JPC 2.0) and Cage Plate Carrier (CPC). This Crye AVS detachable M4 flap attaches to the front platebag (Standard or MBAV) to provide three M4 mag pouches. Includes three shock-cord magazine retention straps to hold the magazines in place.

Very bad design. The front and back pieces of the panel are just sewn together flat, there are no side pieces of the panel. I installed Haley micro mag inserts so I could replace the mag without using two hands, and this caused both sides of the placard to peel away from the carrier. I replaced this placard with one from Esstac within an hour of trying it.

I bought this to add some magazine capacity to my Crye JPC 2.0. The AVS Detachable M4 Flap is the ideal solution because it keeps the front of the carrier slick when you don’t need it, but locks in tight when you do. The velcro holds strong and the flap design keeps debris out of my mags. RMA Armament had this in stock when others didn’t, and my order arrived quicker than expected. 10/10 experience.
