This is my first piece of body armor and we paired it with the Agilite K-Zero so I think this setup is perfect for training and home defense. Going straight to a multi-curve plate versus the typical flat plates was a great decision. I do sprints and jumps with this thing on and everything holds really well in place with just a bit of play. The weight is perfect for training and you'll be more explosive just having the plates on.

reviewed by Adam M.So I'm a big fan of RMA. I'm what the charitable call a "value" shopper. I'm not looking for the "best" or, on the other side, the "cheapest". I'm looking for the best bang for my buck where additional money buys diminishing returns. I trust RMA, period. And yes, I could spend two or even three times as much on a comparable plate to shave off a few ounces (not pounds, ounces), but I can't justify that. The RF2++ gets me the protection I want (not worried about 30-06 black tip, to be honest) at a great price and with an acceptable weight.
